This fluffy cotton chenille robe is 52 inches long. It has a full length zip to make it easy to get in and out of, it also has a set in belt which is basically a belt which is part of the robe and gives it more shape when worn. The sleeves, belt and collars have a waffle effect chenille.

This soft and fluffy cotton chenille robe has a full length zip to make it easy to get in and out of. This chenille robe also has a shaped yoke with jumbo cotton chenille rib contrast in it. The jumbo cotton rib is unique to chenille and we have added this contrast to the cuffs too, to create a great looking robe.

This robe is ideal for lounging around the house and it has two concealed pockets for that purpose. The length of the robe is 52 inches.

Luxury Chenille Wrap Robe With Scrolls

This super soft luxury cotton chenille wrap over robe has design features which are totally unique to chenille.
Firstly it features a set in belt, which is basically a belt which is a part of the robe, as can be seen on the image above. The set in belt gives the wearer a more flattering shape, it also means that the belt cannot get lost.

The sleeves and belt on this robe have another design feature which is unique to chenille, this is overtfutfing. Scrolls have been tufted on top of the chenille, on the arms and the belt, this bascially means the scroll shapes are raised above the rest of the chenille, but remain part of the chenille. The scrolls themselves are in the same chenille as the body.

The length of this robe is 52 inches and it has a discreet concealed pocket.

This is our first time online and we hope you like our online store. We are adding more beautiful dressing gowns on a regular basis, so make sure to visit our site regularly.

All the items here are high quality Kinnaird products, which do not fit into today's high street criteria of low quality mass production.

This site has been set up in response to customers saying that they would like to buy Kinnaird items, but can no longer find them on the high street.

We welcome back our loyal customers and hope that our products continue to satisfy their as they have done over the last hundred or so years. At the same time we hope to introduce new customers to our products too.

We have only a few products on this website and it follows are ethos of quality not quantity. As time goes by we will add more products to this website, though never at the expense of quality.

Delivery

Delivery within the USA is charged at $10 per robe. Delivery times within the USA is usually 7 to 12 working days if we have your required size, colour and style in stock. Otherwise delivery time can take up to 30 days if the robe has to be made to your requirements. All of our robes are made using traditional methods and not mass produced products.

Delivery to the EU is charged at $10. Delivery to the EU takes around 5-7 days.

Delivery to the rest of the rest of the world is charged at $10. Delivery to the rest of the World usual takes around 7 days more than a USA delivery.

These are indicated delivery times and actual times may vary.

Please note we can only deliver to the billing address of the card used to make payment.

About Kinnaird Chenille

Chenille is made from the manufacture of a special type of cloth often known as candlewick. Which through our special manufacturing process was transformed into a much finer cloth known as chenille. The chenille is then used by us to manufacture robes, bedding and home textiles. To ensure the quality of these products they were all stitched first and then the product is dyed the desired colour. This gives the finished item a very soft feel, as well as colour which still cannot be matched by mass manufacturing.

Chenille is a tufted cloth and has a base cloth with a textured pile. This basically means that the underside of the cloth is flat soft cotton, whereas the topside has a soft cotton pile which when touched your fingers sink into. This is acheived through are specialist machinery, which is exclusive to us. The fact that we dye stitched products and not cloth also helps.

Genuine chenille is made from 100% cotton and can be worn straight from the shower, it will not leave moisture on the wearer skin as polyester does. Also being a cotton, chenille is breathable which helps prevent perspiration, unlike polyester which is not breathable and often causes perspiration.

Kinnaird are the only genuine chenille manufacturer still operating today. Many other producers of genuine chenille such as Andrew Russell have joined forces with us and others have simply closed. There are new polyester based products on the market which have been developed by the Chinese, these are not chenille, but poor imitations of the real article.
